ENT Department

We have a well-equipped Ear Nose and Throat (ENT) Department offering a full range of services for adults and children. There are five consultants, a medical team, trained clinic and theatre staff and audiologists. The ENT clinic is fully equipped with state of the art microscopes and endoscopic equipment to view the ears nose or throat within the Outpatient Department. There are daily emergency clinics where patients can be seen and treated for urgent problems. Patients are referred to these clinics from the Emergency Department (A&E). We have specialist Head and Neck cancer clinics, a Neck Lump clinic, Children’s Clinic and Rhinology Clinic and are looking to develop our services further. Many ENT conditions can be treated without the need for surgery. However, some patients require an operation to either diagnose or treat a condition.
